I have no idea it's accuracy on water and I don't care, because I highly doubt buyers are purchasing the scale out of an intense desire to calculate their water saturation levels. Am I thirsty? No? Great, that's good enough for me.
What I do know is that it sucks at accurate weight calculations and it really sucks at body fat %. I'm pretty active and have been actively watching what I eat for the last few months gearing up for bikini season here in SoCal (which, I'm pretty sure is one of Dante's levels of Hell. One where you're constantly asked by anorexic girls if they look fat and Katy Perry's "California Gurls" is blasted 24/7). Despite my dedication to fitness (and coffee, air, water, and salad) this stupid scale has weighed me the EXACT same weight for 3 months. Give or take a few oz's. My pants fall off, but still this scale insists I haven't lost a pound. I read a tip about putting something on it to recalibrate it and then see if you get a more accurate reading. I tried that. Here's a list of things in my house that weigh the exact same as me: my purse, a bottle of mouthwash, and one of those tree branch jewelry holders from Urban Outfitters. Also it's BFP reading is schizophrenic. One day it told me 21.5, the next day (I'm not even kidding) it told me 33%! You don't go from athletic to morbidly obese in one day. And if you could just suddenly be morbidly obese then I've been wasting serious time at the gym for naught. I finally discovered my gym has one of those legit Dr scales. I've lost 11 pounds. Taylor Body Fat Scale, I hatechu. You're as useless as my boyfriend in the womens section of H&M.
